Certificate in Youth Ministry
The Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies Program is . . .
a Ministry Education Program for those involved professionally or as volunteers in ministry with youth, ages 10-19, in both parish and school settings. It equips leaders with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools and techniques needed for creative and comprehensive ministry with youth.
About the program . . .
The course of study features eight courses offered in a weekend format over a two-year period. Enrollment in the program can take place at any time.

Certificate Registration
The Certificate program can be utilized in a number of ways:
as an integrated formation program leading to a Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies
as an enrichment or continuing education program for veteran leaders
as a workshop series which can be taken on a course-by-course basis by professional or volunteer leaders
A Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies is awarded by the Archdiocese of Omaha and the Center for Ministry Development to students who:
participate in all eight courses
complete the Certificate Assignments and Learning Journal for each course
submit their assignments and learning journal by September 15 following completion of their final course
Graduate credit available through Creighton University
The Certificate program meets on Saturday 8:30 am -5:30 pm, and Sunday 8:30 am- 4:00 pm
